1. How much money will I save ?

How much money you save/make is dependent on 3 main things

• - How much electricity you use during the day (when the sun is out)
• - The size of the system you install
• - The $ value of any feed in tariff that you receive.

If you use less than 20% of your energy during daylight hours you will save around $600 per year per KW.

2. How quickly will I receive return on investment?

It all depends on the same variables as in example 1, but if you were to achieve the example as above you would receive approximately 15% return on your investment.

3. Can I install the system on a holiday home, or commercial building?

Yes you can, & a holiday home can commonly be the ideal place, as can the 'strata meter' in commercial premises.

As long as you aren't using electricity when the sun is out, you will receive the maximum benefit from the feed in tariff, and as Australian's we like to holiday in the sun, quite commonly holiday homes are in the sunniest of places.

4. What about solar farms for an investment return ?

The REC's multiplier for Solar PV grid connect systems maxes out at 1.5kw, so you will only receive the standard REC's credits for systems larger than that (so the return can be seen to be less)

You would also need to check with your energy provider as to how much energy they will allow you to generate back to the grid, whilst still paying the 'incentive tariff'

5. If I was approved for the Governments $8000 rebate & still haven't installed my system, can I go through you?
