Below we have answered some commonly asked questions & have provided detail regarding our solar grid connect electricity packages.

1. How does solar electricity work ?

Each KW of solar install on your roof will produce approximately 1KW of electricity for your home for every daylight hour.

2. How many hours of daylight will I receive?

An average Adelaide home receives approximately 4-6hrs of daylight as an average throughout the year.

3. How much electricity do I use ?

An average Adelaide home uses around 18kw of electricity per day.

4. What about feed in tariffs ?

As an extra incentive to install solar power on your home, your energy provider offers on average $0.44 per kw credit for excess electricity fed back to the grid.

This helps you to achieve a $0 electricity bill, without having to install a massive system (if you don't use much energy whilst the sun is out)

How it works, is that if you are not home in the day & you create 9kw of electricity & sell it at $0.44 per KW you can use an average of 18kw at night & still not pay for the electricity (because you are buying it back at $0.195 per kw)

You could also still install a large system & actaully get paid by your energy retailer !!!!!!.
