Renewable Energy Certificates

REC's are available for all installations of solar hot water systems. 1 REC is equivalent to 1MW of energy 'displaced' from the electricity grid. 1 REC is also equivalent to 1 tonne of Co2 saved.

Each hot water system is rated by the Government & REC's is attributed to each product. our systems achieve between 20-47 REC's

The value of REC's can fluctuate on a daily basis the lowest value we have ever seen for REC's is $12 & the highest we have seen is $46.

SA Government Rebate

$500 is available to low income earners & pensioners to install a solar hot water system. This rebate is provided as a point of sale discount if you are eligible.

Federal Government Rebate - Economic Stimulus

A rebate of $1000 is available to people who upgrade from an electric hot water system to a solar hot water system.

You must be installing the system in a principal place of residence

You must not have claimed the rebate for insulation.

Only $600 is available to heat pump purchases.
