The downside of on roof electric boosted solar
Only 80-165L of off peak boost - All solar hot water systems require boosting approximately 20% of the time. The largest on roof system is 330L allowing for only 165L of off peak boost (approx 18 mins of showering) If you were to use more water you would need to boost on peak which can cost you 200% more.
Stainless Steel tanks - In hard water areas stainless steel may not be the most ideal option, as stainless steel is not able to handle the high TDS as with mild steel.
