New
Hot Water Regulations for South Australia - as of July 1 2008.
For
most metro South Australian Hot Water Installations there
are some new regulations that we need to meet.
- All
Gas Hot Water replacements must now be 5 star, solar or
heat pump.
- Electric
Hot Water Systems can be replaced same for same for the
next 12 months unless the property has changed hands since
July 1 2008.
- All
hot water system replacements must meet a new flow rate
standard in the shower- WELS 3 Star.
As
of July 1 2009
- All
hot water system replacements (where possible) must be replaced
with either 5 star Gas, Solar Hot Water or Heat Pump. (SAHT
exempt)
